Tentoonstelling in New York
In het Center for Architecture in New York is tot 2 september de tentoonstelling Wealth of Sobriety te zien, over het fotoproject van Arjan Bronkhorst over de huizen en interieurs van Gerrit Rietveld.
De Volkskrant: "De Rietveldhuizen die fotograaf Arjan Bronkhorst portretteerde, zijn nu te zien op een expositie in New York. De grote verrassing: het Parkhurst House in Ohio (...) De bezoekers zullen verrast zijn; wie had kunnen vermoeden dat er ergens in Ohio een architectuurparel lag?"

Gerrit Rietveld - Weelde van de Eenvoud
Een nieuwe herdruk voor het grote Rietveld fotoboek van fotograaf Arjan Bronkhorst, getiteld Weelde van de Eenvoud / Wealth of Sobriety. In meer dan 500 pagina's en bijna 400 foto's zien we Rietveldhuizen zoals nooit tevoren. Ook de bewoners komen in beeld, waarvan sommige nog met de wereldberoemde architect samenwerkten. De auteurs Ida van Zijl, Willemijn Zwikstra en Marc van den Eerenbeemt verhalen uitgebreid over de huizen en bewoners. Kerkinterieurs in Nederland
Arjan Bronkhorst maakte gedurende anderhalf jaar een fotografische rondreis langs 100 Nederlandse kerken, in opdracht van de Rijksdienst Cultureel Erfgoed en Museum Catharijneconvent. Zijn foto's van unieke kerkinterieurs zijn gepubliceerd in het lijvige boek Kerkinterieurs in Nederland, verschenen bij uitgeverij Wbooks. Grachtenhuizen
Arjan Bronkhorst is tevens de maker van het succesvolle fotoboek Grachtenhuizen, waarin hij dertig Amsterdamse grachtenhuizen en hun bewoners op karaktervolle wijze in beeld bracht. Het boek werd in korte tijd een bestseller en is inmiddels in zesde druk verschenen. Kunsthistoricus Koos de Wilt en Volkskrant-journalist Marc van den Eerenbeemt hielden interviews met de bewoners en tekenden de geschiedenis van de grachtenhuizen op. Het boek is te koop in de boekhandel of online te bestellen bij uitgeverij Lectura Cultura.
Ons Lieve Heer op Solder
Voor het Amsterdamse museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder fotografeerde Arjan Bronkhorst de 17de eeuwse schuilkerk op karaktervolle wijze. Huis en kerk zijn zeldzaam goed bewaard en worden door steeds meer bezoekers uit de hele wereld ontdekt. Het is een prachtige plek om de geschiedenis van de Gouden Eeuw te ervaren. Ze zijn bijna tastbaar vastgelegd door Arjan Bronkhorst en gepubliceerd in een prachtig boek. De Amerikaanse schrijver Russell Shorto schreef de inleiding van het boek. Exhibition in New York
The Center for Architecture in New York will host the exhibition Wealth of Sobriety until September 2nd, about the photo project of Arjan Bronkhorst capturing the houses and interiors of Gerrit Rietveld.
De Volkskrant: "The Rietveld houses portrayed by photographer Arjan Bronkhorst are now on display in an exhibition in New York. The big surprise is the Parkhurst House in Ohio (...) Visitors will be surprised; who would have imagined that an architectural gem was hidden away somewhere in Ohio?"

Gerrit Rietveld - Wealth of Sobriety
A new reprint for the large Rietveld photo book by photographer Arjan Bronkhorst. In over 500 pages and almost 400 photos you will experience the houses and interiors of Gerrit Rietveld like never before. Portraits of the residents also appear in the book, few of whom directly worked with the world renowned architect. Church interiors of the Netherlands
Arjan Bronkhorst worked for almost 2 years on a project photographing Dutch churches, an assignment of the Rijksdienst Cultureel Erfgoed and Museum Catharijneconvent. Grachtenhuizen / Amsterdam Canal Houses
Arjan Bronkhorst is the initiator, photographer and publisher of the successful book Grachtenhuizen / Amsterdam Canal Houses. During almost 2 years, he made a photo series of 30 majestic city palaces alongside the Amsterdam canals, most of them still privately owned. Arjan also portrayed the owners. Art historian Koos de Wilt and Volkskrant-journalist Marc van den Eerenbeemt interviewed the residents while reconstructing the history of these impressive houses. The book became a bestseller in it's first month and is now in it's sixth printing. The book is available at bookshops in The Netherlands and online at publisher Lectura Cultura.
Our Lord in the Attic
Arjan Bronkhorst photographed the museum of Our Lord in the Attic, a former hidden church in the historical old town of Amsterdam, for a memorable book. Both house and church are amazingly well preserved, as growing numbers of visitors around the world are discovering. This is a special place to experience the history of the Dutch Golden Age. In this book they appear almost tangible in the photographs by Arjan Bronkhorst. The American writer Russell Shorto wrote the Introduction to the book.
